Medical Exclusion

There are of course also a number of medical causes for fatigue that require medical treatment. For example: loss of heart function, lung damage, an underactive thyroid gland or tumor growth.

If you have unexplained fatigue for a few weeks and a fever, it is definitely necessary to contact your GP for further examination!

Practical Tips for Burnout

When you are completely burned out, you naturally want to resolve it quickly. And therein lies the danger. The temptation to want a solution fast, to accept all help, actually makes you continue in the same gear.

Often, we don’t realize how far we’ve been running on adrenaline, and you only get really tired when you stop. And the longer that is delayed, the deeper the burnout.

Therefore, the recommendation is to take it very easy: put the brakes on, and keep everything that reminds you of the cause (e.g. work) out of sight. That way you really come to rest and recovery can begin.

All phases of recovery, from physical condition to psychological triggers, can be treated with energy work. In addition, it is useful to work with a good psychologist to see where you get stuck. We can deepen those same themes in the session.
